My appointment at Willow River Dental was great. I went in as a new patient to explore options for orthodontic care, and Dr. Kate was so thorough in review, not only of her own scans, but of x-rays received from my prior dentists office. She answered all of my questions, and really took a patient forward approach. It’s a perfect and convenient location and the staff there are all kind and easy to talk to. Cannot recommend enough.

Everyone is friendly and helpful. I’ve had no issues with any of my work done and the experience is always pleasant. Dr. Kate and her staff do their best to make the process as relaxing and tolerable as possible, especially for someone who does not like going to the dentist.

This place is amazing!
Not only is everyone who works here very empathetic and has a great chairside manner, they have the skills to make procedures very comfortable. Two notable examples from my visit today: 1, when I recieved the anesthetic injections, I didn't even feel it. I've never experienced that before. Second, when they made the molds for my temporary crown, they got it right the first time!
Usually it takes so long. That was very impressive.
I was almost reticent to write a review, because I want to be able to book appointments here, but that's not really fair.

I have gone to the same dental office for over thirty years, the practice was bought by new dentist and I’ve had three very bad experiences. I almost never write reviews and know accidents can happen, but this was too much. First, I had a small chip on my front tooth and got it bonded. The color of the bonding did not match the rest of my tooth and did not cover from one side of the tooth to the other and there was a visible line part way across the front of the tooth. I said something, but thought it would be Ok. Went in a few weeks later to have a very old filling on my back tooth refilled as part of it had fallen out. I had no tooth pain or problems with the tooth other than food would get stuck in it. After about 1 week the molar with the new filling started to hurt when I bit down… thought it needed to be adjusted so made an appt for the following week. They called me the day before the appt and cancelled my appt and rescheduled me for another week out, but by now my tooth hurt all the time. I told them I couldn’t wait another week but apparently they had no openings. I had to go to another dentist and they found the tooth had been drilled too close to the nerve and now my nerve was dying. I had to have an emergency root canal. Now today, just a few weeks later, (while out of the country on vacation) the bonding on my front tooth just fell off. I did not bite anything hard or hit it , it just crumbled. Three really bad strikes! I’m done with them!!

Dr Kate is the best. Such normal people that just care about others and their patients. Down to earth, phenomenal and super funny. Also teeth have never been cleaner.
